The patrons of the RISE event are bold advocates for entrepreneurship who are committed to supporting growth entrepreneurship and promoting a more supportive environment for entrepreneurship in Finland.
Hjallis Harkimo

Politician and businessman Hjallis Harkimo is the first official patron in the history of the RISE event.
“I wanted to become a patron of the RISE event because it brings together bold ideas, entrepreneurship, and the best of Finnish expertise,” Harkimo says.
According to Harkimo, Finland needs more opportunities where people can be inspired, build networks, and give new ideas the chance to grow:
“It is important to me to support initiatives that create confidence in the future and encourage people to seize new opportunities. The only way to get Finland’s economy back on track is through business growth,” Harkimo emphasises.
Jocka Träskbäck
The National Coalition Party
Politician Jocka Träskbäck stands behind the mission of the RISE event: Finland’s economy must return to growth.
“Entrepreneurship carries Finland forward. By supporting growth entrepreneurship and exports, we strengthen the entire Finnish welfare society,” Träskbäck says.
Successful companies create jobs and generate tax revenue for Finland.
“Companies are the backbone of Finland, creating prosperity for people across all age groups and social backgrounds,” Träskbäck concludes.
