We Love Finland

Finland, however, is currently the slowest-growing country among the OECD nations. Companies are increasingly struggling to secure funding, and the tight economic conditions of recent years have weakened opportunities for active innovation and product development. We are a country that produces world-class innovations, yet capital does not always find its way to support them.

Without growth companies, we have no exports, no jobs, no tax revenue, no future. Export industries already account for half of Finland’s well-being, but their foundation lies in companies’ ability to innovate, grow, and export. By supporting exports and enhancing domestic companies’ export capabilities, Finland’s economy and the entire welfare society are strengthened.

We believe that in our beloved homeland, ideas that can change the world are born—if only they receive the support they need to grow.

More than an event – RISE is a movement

RISE was born from our desire to build a new growth ecosystem in Finland. We bring together providers of public, private, and foreign capital, international investors, key stakeholders supporting growth entrepreneurship and exports, as well as entrepreneurs who are not satisfied with what is—but see what could be. We provide information, tools, and, above all, connections that enable Finnish growth companies to succeed at home and globally.
